O video Ilha Branca é filmado da janela de um hotel em Manhattan. A sua inauguração no Teatro Municipal de Almada Joaquim Benite, coincidiu com a estreia da peça de teatro 'Que farei com este livro?' escrita por José Saramago, que relata a luta de Camões pela publicação de 'Os Lusíadas'.

'Ilha Branca' evoca Helena, mulher de Menelau, por quem os gregos combateram durante dez anos em Tróia. Helena é alguém, uma mulher, que, ao contrário de Camões e Saramago, não conseguiu erguer a sua voz: "Camões não poderia saber que logo após a sua morte o reino que tanto elogiara cairia também. Sabê-lo-ia mais tarde Saramago, que entre outras coisas saberia também outras histórias da história do mesmo povo e conheceria por dentro a amargura de uma voz que nem sempre se pôde fazer ouvir. [...] Da Ilha Branca, onde jaz Helena, nenhuma voz se ergue. Dessa mulher sabemos apenas o que outras vozes dela disseram. A sua beleza causou a sua perdição e a perdição de um homem, de uma dinastia, de uma cidade. [...] Sobre os escombros de Tróia, sobre os escombros de Helena, pairam ainda os fantasmas de tantos gregos e troianos, homens com estirpe de heróis, dotados de astúcia e sabedores da arte da guerra, do peso do dever, do sabor da morte. [...] Nada mais sabemos de Helena, e por isso nem na morte a ouvimos melhor. Que faria com a sua voz? Que fareis com a sua voz? Sobre as estacas dessa súplica, a ter sido ouvida a sua versão dos acontecimentos, talvez cidades mais benévolas se tivessem erguido. Que fazer nesses momentos em que alguns decidem pela voz dos outros? Que fazer para não morrer? Que fazer para ouvir quem não pode calar? Em que ilha nos encontramos?”

The White Island video is filmed from the window of a hotel in Manhattan. Its inauguration at the Almada Joaquim Benite Municipal Theater coincided with the premiere of the theater play 'What will I do with this book?' written by José Saramago, who recounts Camões' struggle for the publication of 'Os Lusíadas'. '

Ilha Branca' evokes Helena, Menelaus' wife, for whom the Greeks fought for ten years in Troy. Helena is someone, a woman, who, unlike Camões and Saramago, could not raise her voice: "Camões could not have known that soon after his death the kingdom he had praised so much would also fall. Saramago would know later, who among other things would also know other stories of the history of the same people and would know inside the bitterness of a voice that was not always possible make heard. . . From the White Island, where Helen lies, no voice rises. Of this woman we only know what other voices of her have said. Her beauty caused her doom and the doom of a man, of a dynasty, of a city. [...] Over the rubble of Troy, over the rubble of Helen, still hover the ghosts of so many Greeks and Trojans, men with the pedigree of heroes, endowed with cunning and knowing the art of war, the weight of duty, of the taste of death. [...] We know nothing more about Helena, and therefore not even in the death we hear it better. What would you do with her voice? What will you do with her voice? Upon the stakes of this supplication, having her version of events heard, perhaps more benevolent cities would have risen. What to do in these moments when some decide for the voice of others? What to do not to die? What to do to listen to those who cannot be silent? What island are we on?"
