Just Reality foi filmado em vários locais do mundo. Apresenta um "discurso entrecortado do quotidiano em imagens que se sucedem no ritmo da vida. [...] Cidades do mundo, aeroportos, trânsito que cruza ruas e estradas, abertas na superfície como caminhos de bichos efémeros, que por vezes nos levam a um jardim ou desaguam numa praia, trânsito de contentores de almas e mercadorias que se interrompe, obedecendo apenas, porque nos achamos distanciados, a uma geometria fractal, relativa mas persistente. Inteligível, porque é assim que somos. Como no discurso do consciente, abertas as portas da memória, as mesmas imagens repetem-se, olhares de fora para dentro onde se vão sinalizando, aqui e ali, os referentes de vida pessoal do autor, como dispositivos-farol de identificação e recuperação da memória guardada. [...] Este delírio de luz e sombra e movimento que enche as ruas, os cantos e as esquinas, as instituições que identificamos com edifícios, as próteses efectuadas sobre a Natureza e sobre o destino do homem que caminha sobre betão em ar climatizado, é-nos não só familiar, mas sinal de pertença. Foi-nos agora, é-nos num indeterminado amanhã, neste presente expandido que os Media nos vão oferecendo e fazemos nosso.
Em frente à complexidade do mundo, mesmo em diferido, essa teoria de evolução que é o nosso olhar e o nosso corpo segregam um manual de síntese do entendimento imediato, que é a globalização da experiência e a memória dessas conversas que o entendimento, ao que dizem, desenvolve consigo mesmo. Aí, o gosto, a justiça e verdade, bordões fundamentais da nossa forma de lidarmos com as coisas e com os homens, unem-se com aquela espontaneidade que Kant laboriosamente lhes negou".

Just Reality was filmed in various places of the world. It displays an “intermittent speech of daily life, in images that follow one another according to the rhythm of life. [...] Cities of the world, airports, traffic in streets and roads, cutting the surface like the tracks of ephemeral animals, sometimes leading us to a garden or a beach, a discontinuous traffic of bodies and merchandise containers, obeying only, from our distant vantage point, a fractal and relative, yet persistent geometry. This geometry is intelligible to us, because we are made so. As in the discourse of the conscious mind, once the gates of memory are open, the same images repeat themselves, in an outside-looking-in process, where, now and then, references from the author’s personal life can be spotted, like beacons allowing for the identification and recovery of stored memory. [...] This ecstasy of light, shadow and movement filling every street, every corner, every angle, these institutions we identify as buildings, these prosthesis implanted on Nature and the fate of men, running on roads in air conditioned ambient, are, more than familiar to us, a sign of belonging. It is so today, it will be more so tomorrow, in this extended present the media offer us to make our own. Even while indirectly facing the world’s complexity, this theory of evolution, that is our gaze and our body, segregates a handbook of immediate understanding, which is both the globalization of experience and the memory of these conversations that understanding, it is said, holds with itself. There, taste, justice and truth, the mainstays of our dealings with things and men, unite with the spontaneity that Kant laboriously denied them.”
