O vídeo Just Reality mostra “um fluxo de imagens que corre em espiral no tempo de captação e no movimento da nossa memória. Vemos o que nos parecem episódios inconclusivos, que rapidamente se fazem e desfazem em espaços que momentaneamente identificamos, aqui e ali: aeroportos, aviões, arranha-céus, ruas de grandes cidades do mundo, campos e jardins, barcos nuvens, praias, aconteceres. A voz de Nina Szielaskoo, que obsessivamente acompanha estas imagens, fala-nos da impossibilidade de julgar, da impossibilidade de contextualizar o passado no presente. Fá-lo através da leitura de fragmentação narrativa em continuum que ela própria construiu a partir de um texto (O Leitor) do escritor Bernhard Schlink. A música, composta originalmente por Jorge Palma, é uma mistura de temas clássicos (Bach, Sousa Carvalho e Debussy) e composições suas, que acentua ou desfaz o continuum da fragmentação da narrativa e das imagens, evitando a deriva que uma voz e uma legenda necessariamente acarretam. Este filme [que integrou a instalação ‘Just Reality’ de Manuel Valente Alves, na Sala do Tribunal do edifício da antiga Cadeia e Tribunal da Relação do Porto, actual sede do Centro Português de Fotografia], é uma rede que nos fala das múltiplas possibilidades de vida que o homem fabricou para sii mesmo, sobrepondo ao ritmo da terra, da respiração e do passo, o sopro acelerado das máquinas e da tecnologia; fala-nos da interactividade, emoção, cumplicidade, na múltipla voz dos sons e das imagens.”

Video Just Reality show "a stream of images that spirals into the time of capture and the movement of our memory. We see what seem to us inconclusive episodes, which are quickly made and dissolved in spaces that we momentarily identify here and there: airports, airplanes, skyscrapers, streets of big cities of the world, fields and gardens, boats, clouds, beaches, happenings. The voice of Nina Szielaskoo, who obsessively accompanies these images, speaks to us of the impossibility of judging, of the impossibility of contextualizing the past in the present. It does so by reading narrative fragmentation in a continuum that she herself constructed from a text (The Reader) by writer Bernhard Schlink. The music, originally composed by Jorge Palma, is a mixture of classical themes (Bach, Sousa Carvalho and Debussy) and his compositions, which accentuates or undoes the continuum of the fragmentation of narrative and images, avoiding the drift that a voice and a legend necessarily entail.
